Serving the needs of a wonderfully supportive community, the Newtown Public School District is comprised of a Pre-K program, four K-4 elementary schools, a 5-6 intermediate school, a 7-8 middle school, and a 9-12 high school. The district has approximately 4,300 students and its mission is “Inspiring All Students to Excel.”

Newtown, CT is a beautiful New England town of approximately 28,000 residents, located in Fairfield County between New York City and Hartford. The town contains over 60 square miles and is composed mainly of residential housing and some light industry. The community is very proud of its rich heritage, which includes a tradition of broad based civic participation.
